4 DAYS FES TO MERZOUGA DESERT CULTUER TOUR
1ST DAY: FES – MIDELT
After the breakfast Leaving Fez travling towards Efran , a beautifual mountains village.referred to as Switzerland of morocco and then to Midelt . during this journey you will experience glimpses of the middle Atlas and higher Atlas mountains stoping at azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest- the Largest in Morocco where you may well sight Barbary apse. After sometime within forest, your journey continuse to Midelt you will be accommodated in a luxurious hote. Hotel Dinner overnight at hotel.
2sd day: Midelt-Merzouga
After breakfast, in your hote you will travel to merzouga via Errcahidia and erfoud. you will be travlling through the fascinating TZN NTalghamt pass and ziz gorge. taiking in a views og the high atlas palteau.you will notice how the scenery change to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia.here you will have a lunch and enjoy Berber hospitality.Afterwords,you will travel along the luxuriant ZiZ valley,stoping for penoramic views along the way to ERFOUD and RISSANI.arrive at Mezouga on the Afternoon.you will be welcome with glass of mint tea. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
3rd day: Tour around erg chebbi dunes
After breakfast in the hotel, you will start an explorative journey of the area, you will visit the nomads in their goat hair tent and learn about the desert life, afterwards you visit the Gnaoua people, originally slaves brought from Sudan, here you will have the opportunity to listen to their music and learn about their culture and lifestyle. Depending on what time of year you visit, you may have a visit to the lake of Merzouga and its bird population such as the “Flamingos”. On the afternoon, we will drive you to the desert camp, to explore within the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. You will enjoy the beauty of the Sahara desert and the sunset over the golden dunes. After the sunset you will enjoy your dinner in front of the camp where you will spend your first night under, or if you prefer, under the stars. Our camp is equipped with western bathrooms.
4th day: Merzouga – fez
We will wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise on the dunes then take a camel ride back to the hotel. After freshening up and breakfast we’ll leave for Fez.We will travel via the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas mountains as we depart the desert region to Fes. We will drive through the cedar forests of Azrou and stop to hand feed the monkeys. We will continue via Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ to arrive early evening to Fes and transfer to the hotel of your choice. End of our services.TOUR INCLUDE :
